Shipping Policy

Welcome to Akela Taka's Fursuits & Cosplay. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle shipping for orders placed on our website. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Shipping Destinations

We ship our products worldwide from our location in the Czech Republic (EU). Please note that certain products may be subject to restrictions in some countries, and we reserve the right to refuse to ship to certain destinations.

To schedule a delivery, the postal service requires a valid email address and/or phone number, as well as payment of any applicable customs or import fees.

2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Times

Shipping rates and delivery times vary depending on the destination and the weight and dimensions of your package. The shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Shipping international packages costs between €20 and €100 Euro, depending on the package's weight and size. This applies even to small packages. For larger orders that require oversized packaging due to weight or dimensions, additional shipping fees may be necessary. In such cases, we will email you to arrange any extra charges, as our website cannot always predict the cost for certain shipping services.

Estimated Delivery Times:

  • Europe: 5-15 business days
  • North America: 10-25 business days
  • Asia: 10-30 business days
  • Australia: 10-25 business days
  • Other regions: 15-30 business days

Please note that these are estimated delivery times and actual delivery may vary.

3. Order Processing Time

Please be aware that most of our products (excluding digital products and services) are made to order. The standard waiting time should be no longer than two weeks (14 days); however, we reserve the right to delay the processing of your order at any time. (see the TOS for more details). You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

4. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and other import fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost. We cannot declare packages as gifts to avoid these fees. Each international package we send includes a copy of the order on the outside, clearly indicating it is a merchandise parcel. We apologize for any inconvenience, but this is beyond our control. Please check with your local customs office for more information on these fees.

 

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your package on the carrier's website.

6. Delayed or Lost Shipments

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes, adverse weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control. If your package is significantly delayed or lost, please contact us at radlmartin91@gmail.com for assistance. We will contact the shipping company and request a refund of the insurance cost. You will then receive your money back (or replacement of the lost item, depending on your preference), but please be patient as this can take a lot of time (usually about three months). Please do not rush the process. Also, please keep in mind that shipping the order overseas may take a month or two, especially in busy months such as December.

7. Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you realize that you have provided an incorrect address, please contact us immediately at radlmartin91@gmail.com or through our shop's contact form.

8. Damaged or Missing Items

We will pack the order to withstand possible water damage and rough handling. However, we are not responsible for any damage your order might receive in the mail. If your order arrives damaged or with items missing, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at radlmartin91@gmail.com. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting photos. We ship all orders with insurance, but we will need you to take pictures for proof and hold onto the packaging so we can file the claim. We will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
